          "text": "<p><strong>Union: </strong>Non-Union&#xa0;<br>\n<strong>Number of vacancies: </strong>1<br>\n<strong>New or Replacement Position: </strong>Replacement&#xa0;<br>\n<strong>Site:&#xa0;</strong>Toronto Rehab - University Centre<br>\n<strong>Department:&#xa0;</strong>KITE Research Institute&#xa0;<br>\n<strong>Reports to:&#xa0;</strong>Clinical Research Manager<br>\n<strong>Salary Range:</strong> $40.34&#xa0;- $50.43&#xa0;per hour<br>\n<strong>Hours: </strong>37.5 hours per week<br>\n<strong>Shifts: </strong>Day&#xa0;<br>\n<strong>Status:&#xa0;</strong>Temporary Full Time (1 year contract)<br>\n<strong>Closing Date: </strong>June 20, 2026</p><p><strong>Position Summary&#xa0;</strong></p><p>University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an individual to fill the key role of Clinical Research Coordinator II at The Hull-Ellis Concussion and Research Clinic.&#xa0; The Research Coordinator will exercise judgment and independence in a dynamic research-based clinic in carrying out the day-to-day clinical research study duties.</p><p><strong>Duties&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinating ongoing and new research studies and projects, including REB submissions, amendments, renewals, and closures</li><li>Prepare environment and facilitate conducting research activities as per protocol</li><li>Monitor and oversee data entry and database maintenance related activities</li><li>Recruitment of study participants as needed (e.g., identifying and screening potential subjects and obtaining informed consent)</li><li>Coordinate patient study visit schedules as per study protocol</li><li>Performs data transcription from health records or other sources, as per approved study protocol and authorized access</li><li>Administer in person and telephone interviews and cognitive testing to collect basic study participant data using established criteria</li><li>Execute study-related administrative tasks, such as collection and maintenance of regulatory documents, ethics submissions, etc.</li><li>Maintain electronic &amp; paper information filing/retrieval methods, systems and/or formats</li><li>Conduct scientific literature searches, manuscript preparation, abstract writing and conference/workshop presentation preparations, etc.</li><li>Present at conferences, workshops, etc. as needed</li><li>Liaising with internal and external collaborators and staff scientists to coordinate research projects and publication of manuscripts</li><li>Oversee and submit funding applications such as research grant applications</li><li>Reviewing and assessing study-related literature&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Performs source documentation in UHN’s electronic medical record (Epic) and data collection according to UHN policy and study protocol</li><li>Other responsibilities include planning, implementing, and coordinating data entry (e.g., in databases or case report forms) and study-related administrative tasks, such as creating and maintaining investigator study files, non-interventional study protocol writing, ethics submissions, meeting facilitation, etc.</li><li>Oversee junior research staff, students, and volunteers performing study specific tasks as needed</li><li>Maintain Clinic’s presence on social media&#xa0;</li><li>Update UHN Clinic website as needed</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>At minimum, a bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or science-related discipline, required</li><li>Postgraduate certificate in clinical research or graduate work is an asset&#xa0;</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of clinical research experience and&#xa0;minimum of one (1) year clinical research coordination experience&#xa0;</li><li>Certification as a Clinical Research Professional (i.e. SOCRA, ACRP),&#xa0;preferred&#xa0;</li><li>Proficiency in basic medical terminology&#xa0;</li><li>Experience with patient contact and informed consent in a clinical setting&#xa0;</li><li>Experience with REDCap or other databases an asset</li><li>Experience with manuscript and grant writing</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills &#xa0;</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic &amp; fast-paced research integration environment&#xa0;</li><li>Able to operate effectively in an interdisciplinary team&#xa0;</li><li>Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint</li><li>Proficiency with statistical analysis software (R, RStudio, SAS, SPSS, etc.)</li></ul>",
