With over 12 billion die in stock, Rochester can manufacture over 70,000 device types.</em></p><p><strong><u>General Summary</u></strong></p><p>The Manager, Equipment Maintenance is responsible for the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of equipment, hardware, and tooling associated with the manufacture and testing of Integrated Circuits. The position requires the directing and coordinating the daily work of employees who repair and maintain equipment and machinery across multiple shifts and buildings. The Manager, Equipment Maintenance is required to review future department requirements and develop plans and projects to meet the business needs.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Establish and maintain&nbsp;Equipment Maintenance department procedures and processes that meet all applicable internal and external standards; including but not limited to ISO19001, IATF19695, and ISO14001.</li><li>Ensure production equipment is maintained and operational to minimize equipment downtime.</li><li>Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures, ensuring calibrations and work is performance to the required schedule and timing requirements.</li><li>Establish, implementation, and maintain Total Productive Maintenance Program (TPM).</li><li>Manage external vendor relationships for repair of equipment, hardware, and tooling.</li><li>Monitor equipment, hardware, tooling, and spare part inventory&rsquo;s condition and stock.</li><li>Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations using equipment such as hand or power tools.</li><li>Responsible for participating and implementing lean manufacturing programs such as Kaizen and 6S</li><li>Participate in budget preparation and administration, purchasing, documentation draft &amp; review, and monitoring departmental expenditures.&nbsp;</li><li>Establishes short- and long- term objectives and key process indicators (KPI&rsquo;s) for the Equipment Maintenance department. Manage and report on department objectives and KPI&rsquo;s. Develop plans to address department non-conformances if not meeting objectives and KPI&rsquo;s.</li><li>Oversight of on-time installation of equipment, per project timelines.</li><li>Oversight of employee competency and skill review and for providing feedback and growth opportunities</li><li>Creating SMART goals for department and employees</li><li>Create and manage strategic and tactical resource plans for equipment and staffing.</li><li>Conduct or arranges for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.</li><li>Interact frequently with external vendors and multiple internal departments to facility the operation, repair, and installation of equipment.</li><li>Understanding of semiconductor handlers and electrical test platforms.</li><li>Troubleshooting experience on legacy test handler and other equipment</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Professional degree or certificate program required</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or related environment; or other equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge and application of preventative maintenance techniques/scheduling.</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</li><li>Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to adapt successfully to a multi-priority environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.</li><li>Demonstrable problem solving, project &amp; time management, and prioritization skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>Rochester Electronics is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
