    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>Under supervision, performs work removing bio-hazard waste, operating the Auto-clave, floor scrubbing, removing confidential containers and paper shredding. Other tasks include moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary when relocating a customer.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)</strong>  \n<li>As schedule allows, cleans the rooms/areas in which patient equipment is stored, i.e., IV Poles, Blood Pressure Pumps and Temperature Pumps.</li> \n<li>Collects and removes confidential paper containers and operates paper shredding equipment in accordance with operating instructions and safety requirements.</li> \n<li>Exhibits ability to use all of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and chemicals, including the use of proper dilution rates 100% of the time.</li> \n<li>Operates auto floor scrubbing machine.</li> \n<li>Operates the Auto-clave equipment to burn and destroy appropriate bio-hazardous wastes, follows operating instructions and safety requirements.</li> \n<li>Performs clean up spills wherever assigned and/or observed.</li> \n<li>Removes bio-hazard wastes from proper containers and storage rooms, handling substances in accordance with safety requirements and dons appropriate protective clothing and equipment as needed.</li> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Minimum Requirements)</strong><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must able to read, write legibly, and speak English.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently with little supervision.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work as part of a group.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 Environmental Services Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR</strong>Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.<strong>CONFIDENTIALITY/HIPAA/CORPORATE COMPLIANCE</strong>Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for protecting and maintaining security, confidentiality and integrity of employee, patient, family, organizational and other medical information.
