    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Location: Wichita, KS</strong></p>\n<p><strong>💰 Pay Rate: $90.00+/hour</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently looking for a Senior Consultant <strong>Stress Engineer</strong> (Metallic/Composite, Fuselage, Structure) (Level 6) to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Wichita, KS.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Stress Engineer will apply knowledge of advanced engineering principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices to deliver high-impact technical solutions, while influencing long-term engineering strategy and ensuring compliance within assigned engineering programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is suited for a recognized industry expert who contributes to advanced problem-solving, innovation, and technical leadership.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, organize and prioritize work based on complex program deliverables and long-term objectives.</li>\n <li>Perform and lead advanced stress analysis of aircraft metallic and composite fuselage structures using classical and finite element methods.</li>\n <li>Review and challenge design changes, providing innovative and strategic solutions.</li>\n <li>Evaluate fatigue, static, and damage tolerance requirements at a program level.</li>\n <li>Lead development of stress substantiation reports and advanced technical documentation.</li>\n <li>Define and review structural qualification plans aligned to OEM and regulatory frameworks.</li>\n <li>Act as final authority on vendor stress reports, drawings, and technical submissions.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal engineering outcomes.</li>\n <li>Lead design reviews, present critical findings, and influence engineering direction.</li>\n <li>Drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Mentor senior engineers and contribute to organisational technical capability.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural or related discipline)</li>\n <li>20+ years of Aerospace Stress Engineering experience</li>\n <li>Recognized expert in stress analysis (metallic and composite structures)</li>\n <li>Extensive Boeing program experience required</li>\n <li>Advanced expertise in static, fatigue, and transient analysis methodologies</li>\n <li>Expert-level proficiency in Nastran, Patran, Abaqus</li>\n <li>Strong background in both classical analysis and advanced FEM techniques</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials</li>\n <li>Proven ability to influence technical strategy and solve complex engineering challenges</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Expleo Group USA, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration.
