The position requires the individual be safety minded. Mechanics perform any and all tasks associated with repairing OTR Trucks and Trailers, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Water pumps, Generators.  Repairs to the Equipment will be conducted in or at shop facility, or out in the field using provided service truck.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>*This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose, repair, maintain equipment and ensure any out-of-compliance issues are repaired in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Keep work area clean and organized</li>\n <li>Proper communication with staff about repairs made or needed</li>\n <li>Document repairs made and parts used in repair process</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  </strong></p>\n<p><strong>            </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hard working & Self motivated</li>\n <li>Safety minded</li>\n <li>Willing to learn standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in repairs</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, air, brake systems</li>\n <li>Clean MVR</li>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand or walk for long periods of time</li>\n   <li>Bend, stretch, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl</li>\n   <li>Lift occasionally up to 75 lbs.</li>\n   <li>Fill out all necessary daily paperwork and/or safety related documents</li>\n   <li>Recognize and respond to immediate safety concerns</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outdoors in any and all weather conditions</li>\n <li>Indoors on concrete</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Hours: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10-12 hour workdays, 5 days a week, overtime, occasional Saturday if weather interrupts regular week</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety Training:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MSHA</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Federal Applicant Information</em></p>",
