    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and continuously improve&nbsp;training&nbsp;programs that support manufacturing operations and business goals</li>\n <li>Assess&nbsp;learning&nbsp;needs and translate them into structured&nbsp;training&nbsp;solutions, including curriculum,&nbsp;learning&nbsp;paths, and&nbsp;training&nbsp;materials</li>\n <li>Develop and standardize&nbsp;training&nbsp;content, processes, and frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across teams and locations</li>\n <li>Analyze&nbsp;training&nbsp;data, learner feedback, and performance trends to identify gaps and drive measurable improvements</li>\n <li>Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to align&nbsp;training&nbsp;initiatives with organizational priorities</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to capture technical knowledge and convert it into effective&nbsp;learning&nbsp;experiences</li>\n <li>Design and implement&nbsp;training&nbsp;for new products to support timely and effective workforce readiness</li>\n <li>Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and support development of&nbsp;training&nbsp;team members</li>\n <li>Review and approve&nbsp;training&nbsp;documentation, labs, and On-the-Job&nbsp;Training&nbsp;(OJT) materials; support development of team capability in OJT creation</li>\n <li>Assess trainer performance through audits and evaluations; document findings and provide coaching to close gaps</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain&nbsp;training&nbsp;documentation, processes, and standards to improve consistency and efficiency</li>\n <li>Create and analyze surveys and reporting to evaluate&nbsp;training&nbsp;effectiveness</li>\n <li>Manage LMS-related activities, including enrollments, reporting, and communication of&nbsp;training&nbsp;requirements and updates</li>\n <li>Support hourly and salaried&nbsp;training&nbsp;programs as needed</li>\n <li>Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including local schools and state agencies</li>\n <li>Travel between facilities to support&nbsp;training&nbsp;needs and stakeholder engagement</li>\n <li>Cross-train across&nbsp;training&nbsp;functions to support a well-rounded and adaptable&nbsp;training&nbsp;program</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in&nbsp;Learning&nbsp;&amp; Development,&nbsp;training&nbsp;program design, or a related field within a manufacturing or technical environment</li>\n <li>Strong ability to design, organize, and improve&nbsp;training&nbsp;programs that support operational and business goals</li>\n <li>Proven experience assessing&nbsp;learning&nbsp;needs and developing structured&nbsp;training&nbsp;solutions</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult&nbsp;learning&nbsp;concepts, and blended&nbsp;learning&nbsp;approaches</li>\n <li>Experience working with&nbsp;Learning&nbsp;Management Systems (LMS), survey tools, and content development platforms</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly across all levels of the organization</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to influence, guide, and support others without direct authority</li>\n <li>Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams</li>\n <li>Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, or similar)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</b></p>\n<p><b>The&nbsp;Training&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;role at Vertiv&nbsp;operates across both office and manufacturing environments. This position includes a mix of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day while supporting&nbsp;training&nbsp;delivery and program implementation.</b></p>\n<p><b>This role may require:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent movement between offices,&nbsp;training&nbsp;rooms, and manufacturing areas</li>\n <li>Standing for extended periods during&nbsp;training&nbsp;sessions</li>\n <li>Occasional lifting of materials or equipment (up to 25 lbs)</li>\n <li>Use of standard office and&nbsp;training&nbsp;technology</li>\n <li>Wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe shoes, in operational environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>The work environment includes both climate-controlled spaces and active production areas with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
