Controls System Technician's responsibilities include supporting survey efforts and to install new or retrofit control systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide design assistance to the controls design team.</li>\n <li>Provide work direction to subcontractors and electrical installers as necessary.</li>\n <li>Ensures work performed complies with state, local, and Federal legal requirements.</li>\n <li>Implement building automation system programming modifications as directed by the project lead.</li>\n <li>Complete start-up of control systems.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot control installation problems.</li>\n <li>Assist in completing project closeout documentations.</li>\n <li>Attends meetings with owners, clients, and sub-contractors. Prepares meeting notes and site observation reports.</li>\n <li>Participates in internal and external training programs as required by supervisor.</li>\n <li>Any other duties as assigned by Company Leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years of controls experience (HVAC-R Controls or Access/Security Control) OR relevant/transferable experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.</li>\n <li>Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>HVAC Trade School Education or knowledge of HVAC systems</li>\n <li>Low/High Voltage Electrical experience</li>\n <li>Healthcare or Higher Education project experience</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Work, Excel, PowerPoint.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel will be required and is dependent on project location and needs. The travel commitment is estimated to be as high as 50% of regular work schedule per month. Generally, travel is during the work week and not expected over weekends.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Physical/Work Environment Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>The work environment will be a combination of an office environment and site survey environment.</li>\n <li>Site surveys will include exposure to external weather, loud noises, and poorly accessible spaces.</li>\n <li>Ability to survey confined spaces within a facility to gather necessary information on building equipment.</li>\n <li>The use of ladders to survey equipment above ceiling is required periodically.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
