    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A Valve Technician is responsible for various valve maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates MUST be willing and able to work a 24/7 callout schedule.</li>\n <li>Positions will consist of offshore and land locations.</li>\n <li>Candidates MUST be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check.</li>\n <li>Assemble new safety relief valves to National Board V & UV Code.</li>\n <li>Repair used safety relief valves to National Board VR Code.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for machining nozzles, discs, and associated parts to OEM specifications.</li>\n <li>Perform measurements with dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.</li>\n <li>Apply advanced math skills to verify critical dimensions.</li>\n <li>Perform machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs.</li>\n <li>Perform valve write-ups, including Nameplate data, Guide and nozzle ring settings, and spring number.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for pressure and leak testing valves to National Board and ASME standards.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for valve testing with EVT.</li>\n <li>Provide account manager support by phone and email.</li>\n <li>Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment.</li>\n <li>Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n <li>Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation.</li>\n <li>May be required to travel to worksite via marine or helicopter transport.</li>\n <li>May be required to reside at worksite on a predetermined work schedule.</li>\n <li>Take proper care of test instruments and tools in their care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of offshore/in-land valve experience.</li>\n <li>Valid TWIC card.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>",
