    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><span><strong>Position Summary:</strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><span>The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) works under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist and provides a broad range of clinical support services to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. &nbsp;This role complies with all New York State laws and regulations governing dental assisting practices.</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><span>In addition to the general Dental Assistant duties, RDAs will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care</span></li>\n <li><span>Collect preliminary medical histories and vital signs for dentist review</span></li>\n <li><span>Place and remove rubber dams</span></li>\n <li><span>Select and prefit provisional crowns</span></li>\n <li><span>Take impressions for study casts, diagnostic casts, space maintainers, orthodontic appliances, and occlusal guards</span></li>\n <li><span>Remove periodontal dressings and sutures placed by a licensed dentist</span></li>\n <li><span>Apply topical anticariogenic and desensitizing agents</span></li>\n <li><span>Place and remove temporary separating devices and restorations</span></li>\n <li><span>Remove temporary cement</span></li>\n <li><span>Take dental radiographs in accordance with Public Health Law</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform other authorized supportive services as directed by the supervising dentist</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>High School diploma/GED</span></li>\n <li><span>BLS/CPR certification</span></li>\n <li><span>Current registration as a Dental Assistant in New York State</span></li>\n <li><span>Completion of a recognized dental assisting program</span></li>\n <li><span>Radiology certification per Public Health Law</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Position Type: </strong>Full Time&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Location:</strong> Sun River Health Patchogue&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 501 North Ocean Avenue</span></p>\n<p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Patchogue, NY 11772</span></p>",
