    "description": "<h2>Role Overview</h2>\n<p>Sodexo is seeking a <strong>Clinical Nutrition Manager for St. Bernard Hospital</strong>, a 176-bed Safety Net community hospital located on the south side of Chicago, Illinois.</p>\n<p>This position has a strong focus on advancing clinical nutrition programs, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A sign-on bonus may be available for this position</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>4 weeks’ vacation after 12 months + 3 personal days!</strong>*3 weeks’ vacation +3 personal days for first 12 months</p>\n<p>No weekends!</p>\n<p>Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!</p>\n<p>Free on-site parking!</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage the clinical nutrition program and diet office at St. Bernard Hospital</li>\n <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop one Registered Dietitian and 3 Diet Office Workers</li>\n <li>Provide direct patient care to patients in the 10-bed ICU and attend ICU rounds daily</li>\n <li>Manage Sodexo’s menu management system, HealthTouch</li>\n <li>Ensure DOH/State/Federal and Sodexo standards are being upheld</li>\n <li>Drive quality improvement initiatives, including malnutrition identification and reimbursement optimization</li>\n <li>Participate in hospital-wide committees and strategic initiatives to advance clinical nutrition services</li>\n <li>Provide training and education to the food service staff and healthcare professionals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. If you need assistance with the application process, please complete this form.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications & Requirements</h2>\n<p>Minimum Education Requirement:</p>\n<p>Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) </p>\n<p>For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:</p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Credentials Requirement:</p>\n<p>Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.</p>\n<p>Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners</p>",
