We believe education is the key that enables all people to create economic and civic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their community. ESH&rsquo;s Adult Programs Portfolio aligns with our mission by providing high quality programs and services within community centers and school partnerships.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Reporting to the Director, the Clinician is responsible for providing mental health services to ESH&rsquo;s workforce development programs. The Clinician will be part of the social services department and is expected to help individuals, families, and groups in the workforce development portfolio to develop coping skills, work through problems, and improve overall well-being. This position&rsquo;s direct reports include case workers/managers and interacts with both the Jobs Plus and Post-Secondary Pathways programs. With a focus on mental health, the Clinician provides assessments, treatment planning/referrals, crisis intervention and overall coordination of care &ndash; improving mental well-being, strengthening relationships and promoting life skills.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Under the supervision of the Social Services Department lead and Program Directors, the Clinician will be responsible for but not limited to the following:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Complete initial needs assessment with participant/family.</li>\r\n\t<li>Build relationships with participating clients through consistent individual/group counseling sessions or mediations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develop plan for interventions and will include, but not be limited to, gathering information from program leaders, staff, and members.</li>\r\n\t<li>Use validated tools to screen consenting members for mental health symptoms and re-screen members at appropriate intervals (which will vary, based on population needs and the interventions selected) to identify changes in symptoms and adjust clinical services.</li>\r\n\t<li>For psychoeducation, facilitate one-on-one sessions and/or group sessions, based on the evidence-based intervention selected.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide on-site clinical counseling services for participants. On-site services would be delivered in a manner that ensures privacy and confidentiality for those receiving services.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide community referrals for participants and family as needed. Follow up on referrals to determine outcomes and help resolve barriers.
