    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>*NEW PAY RATES - UP TO $23.34/HR! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Loretto is currently seeking <strong>dedicated and compassionate </strong>candidates to work at our Nottingham facility in Jamesville as a CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide). <strong>If you are not already certified, free training is available! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Position Details:</p>\n<p>Part-time opportunities </p>\n<p>1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available</p>\n<p>Located at our Nottingham facility in Jamesville, NY (please note: this location is not on a bus route)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer a competitive wage, tuition reimbursement, health/dental insurance, and opportunities for career and personal growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT CAN LORETTO OFFER ME?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A dedicated, caring and passionate Loretto family, ready to support you and provide opportunity!</li>\n <li>A fun environment, including recognition events and opportunities to learn and advance your career within the healthcare industry.</li>\n <li>Healthcare benefits for qualifying full time and part time employees upon hire!</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WHAT DOES A HOME HEALTH AIDE DO?</strong></p>\n<p>As a Certified <strong>Home Health Aide (HHA)</strong>, supporting the mission of Loretto, will include the following responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide health care tasks to serve Loretto residents, including, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks, and other related support services essential to the residents’ health</li>\n <li>Work with Loretto’s clinical team to record and report changes regarding the resident’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance</li>\n <li>Perform light housekeeping duties including cooking, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, & sweeping</li>\n <li>Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming</li>\n <li>Assist with transfer and ambulation including the use of a cane, walker, and wheelchair</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>Able to read, write, speak the English language and follow written directions.</li>\n<li>Able to demonstrate completion of medication training requirements -able to pass medication competency tests including a written exam and Medication Administration Test/Cart Quiz.</li>\n<li>Able to work under supervision, know limits of job description, and learn skills as required. Participates in at least 12 hours of in-service education per year to maintain certification. </li>\n<li>Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions; ability to report changes in client’s condition and other pertinent information. </li>\n<li>Able to accurately record information and maintain basic records. </li>\n<li>Possess the emotional and mental maturity and stability to care for the frail elderly and other disabled or compromised clients in their “home” environment; ability to deal tactfully with clients, families, other support persons and members of the health care team. </li>\n<li>Able to follow guidelines established by Loretto’s Customer Service as presented at Loretto Orientation. </li>\n<li>Ability to plan, prioritize, organize work tasks and carry out ongoing care plan. </li>\n<li>Must be 18 years or older. </li>\n<li>10.
