Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Responsible to assist the Banquet Set-Up Manager for the overall management of the room set-ups and service operation for all conference and catering events while producing a quality product that exceeds guest expectation and hotel standards delivered in a friendly and professional manner.   \n<strong><u>Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following</u></strong>\n<strong>:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports the F&B Operation and follows F&B Standards of service as it relates to Fontainebleau performance standards.</li>\n <li>Observe and appraise team member performance, provide feedback, and facilitate improvements in accordance with established standards of product and performance.</li>\n <li>Oversee employees and operations ensuring organization, cleanliness, proper maintenance and supplies, and set-ups and teardowns.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with other departments/managers the daily flow of our Hotel's Operations.</li>\n <li>Develop professional relationships with clients, vendors, team members, and hotel colleagues.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of banquet room set-ups and service operation concepts, practices, and procedures. </li>\n <li>Ability to operate basic office equipment (i.e., computer, fax, and multi-line telephone system).</li>\n <li>Effective supervisory and communication skills.  Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, and understand English.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform basic math skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.</li>\n</ul>",
