This role will be responsible for ensuring we are covering shipments, following our SOPs, communicating updates to customers, and continuing to grow our portfolio of High Value carriers. Ensures the organization complies with all AIT policy and standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Hire, train, coach, and develop the High Value Operations team to meet company expectations and individual goals; manage underperformance as necessary.</li>\n <li>Oversee and manage the escalation and resolution of issues related to high value shipments, ensuring timely and effective handling.</li>\n <li>Strategically develop partnerships with carriers specializing in high value freight; build and maintain a dynamic, compliant carrier network.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Account Management and AIT Station Leadership to align with top customers and ensure exceptional service for high value shipments.</li>\n <li>Drive and manage an effective pipeline of high value carriers; expand portfolio and ensure alignment with customer requirements and risk standards</li>\n <li>Provides leadership and support to teammates and conducts weekly employee reviews that includes coaching and performance KPIs.</li>\n <li>Lead and empower direct reports to negotiate offers and provide pricing guidance for high value shipments.</li>\n <li>Identify and present process enhancements to improve quality, efficiency, and security for high value operations.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Complies with all policies and standards</li>\n <li>The wage range for this position is $67,070.00-$87,610.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Logistics preferred. </li>\n <li>High school Diploma or GED required. </li>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field highly desirable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-3 years of domestic forwarding experience required. </li>\n <li>3PL experience preferred</li>\n <li>P&L experience strongly preferred. </li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of operations supervisory experience and managing a team required. </li>\n <li>Previous experience in a diversified freight forwarding industry, preferred. </li>\n <li>Procurement skills; Operational and P&L management of global products and services in a high-performance organization. </li>\n <li>Excellent organization and time management skills. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate with employees, manager, and upper management levels</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate with employees, manager, and upper management levels</li>\n   <li>Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions </li>\n   <li>Knowledge working with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams Medium</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of \"Highway\" platform utilized for carrier onboarding and monitoring High</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of Risk Management & Compliance in High Value Freight.
