We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The essential duties include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct construction document reviews as required;</li>\n <li>Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup;</li>\n <li>Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation;</li>\n <li>Diagram (P&ID) development; and</li>\n <li>Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. <strong> </strong>(required)</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer License. (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering required,</li>\n <li>Demonstrated design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design;</li>\n <li>Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. </li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.</li>\n <li>Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
