    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Overview&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">GrammaTech is a provider of software solutions and software research, development, and engineering services solving some of the world&rsquo;s most complex security problems.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">GrammaTech is looking for a FPGA Engineer to work onsite at customer locations.</p><p><strong>Important:</strong>  Candidates must have a Full Scope Polygraph clearance and work onsite in Central Maryland (Ft. Meade or Annapolis).&nbsp;</p><p>Responsibilities&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Assists with designing new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products</li><li>Conducts design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable</li><li>Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion</li><li>Applies ASIC or FPGA place and route (P&amp;R) tools with various libraries to create physical implementations of designs</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation for the P&amp;R design flows</li><li>Designs new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products</li><li>Integrates new P&amp;R tools, P&amp;R tool updates, and ASIC or FPGA design libraries into Government&rsquo;s computer aided design environment, documents the use of those tools and libraries, and assists other physical designers to successfully complete their specific P&amp;R design tasks</li><li>Work with tool and library vendors to develop solutions for designers&rsquo; P&amp;R design challenges</li><li>Performs the deprocessing of electronic components and retrieving stored firmware or software using approved reverse engineering procedures</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box; --tw-shadow: 0 0 #0000; --tw-ring-inset: ; --tw-ring-offset-width: 0px; --tw-ring-offset-color: #fff; --tw-ring-color: rgba(59,130,246,.5); --tw-ring-offset-shadow: 0 0 #0000; --tw-ring-shadow: 0 0 #0000;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Provides technical leadership to less experienced engineers</li><li>Directs and checks the work of other engineers</li><li>Acts as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects</li><li>Develops novel procedures for reverse engineering of new component type</li></ul><p> Qualifications&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Seven (7) years of experience in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering of the same is required.&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.</li><li>Five (5) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>Full Scope Poly clearance</li><li>Required Skills:<ul><li>Significant experience developing in C/C++</li><li>Python</li><li>Assembly (Intel or other)</li><li>Hardware Description Language experience (Verilog or VHDL)</li><li>FPGA Design </li><li>Knowledge of Ghidra</li></ul></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">The base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $185,000 per year. This range is based on the Company&#39;s good faith estimate at the time of posting.
