We offer diverse specialized services, including Balance and Fall Prevention, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Gait Analysis, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Spine Rehabilitation, pre- and post-surgical Rehabilitation, and Manual Therapy. As a Physical Therapist at University Physical Therapy—Christiansburg, your strong patient population further defines our reputation for delivering effective, personalized healthcare solutions. Your role will enhance patient wellness, making you a valued and integral part of our healthcare team.&#xa0;</p><p><em>Our patient-centered approach allows our therapists to spend quality time with their patients while working Monday through Friday, with no weekends. At the University, we&#xa0;are focused on building long-term relationships with our therapists and staff. &#xa0;</em></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.</li><li>Review the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.</li><li>Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.</li><li>Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.</li><li>Holds responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.</li><li>Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.</li><li>Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.</li><li>Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.</li><li>Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.</li></ul>",
