Description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Breakfast Line Cook for The Farnam, Autograph Collection in Omaha, NE. Hourly wage: $15.00 to $21.00 , depending on experience and qualifications. Job Purpose: Prepare food according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen. Provide warm, knowledgeable service that supports a positive guest experience. Prepare food items according to recipes, guest orders, and brand standards. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, equipment, and storage to meet health regulations. Inspect and use quality ingredients for all menu items. Follow proper storage and portion control to ensure consistency. Receive and store deliveries correctly. Report maintenance issues promptly. Communicate with kitchen leadership and other departments as needed. Support guest needs with professionalism and courtesy. Participate in inventories and ongoing improvement programs. Follow company policies and maintain positive teamwork. Assist other departments in emergencies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt) preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Basic math and recipe‑reading skills. Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen equipment. Ability to demonstrate culinary techniques safely. This job requires the ability to perform the following: Work in varying temperatures (freezer to hot kitchen). Stand and move for long periods. Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 250 lbs. Bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Use knives, kitchen tools, and equipment safely. Maintain visual and hearing awareness in a busy environment. Other: Passion for service and teamwork. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays). Maintain required licenses or permits.
