If you are a problem solver, a connector, and someone who enjoys helping others, then you might just be the next person to join this dynamic, growing, and global team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the job</strong></p>\n<p>The JMP Development team is searching for it's next <em><strong>Research Statistician Developer</strong></em>!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Research Statistician Developer you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and maintain software for new and existing JMP products, with a focus on statistical modeling and other core statistical applications.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other statisticians and developers to implement statistical methods into high-quality production software.</li>\n <li>Participate in technical discussions with users and internal teams to refine product features.</li>\n <li>Work closely with testing, documentation, and product management teams to ensure high-quality releases.</li>\n <li>Promote newly developed software by giving presentations at user meetings and user conferences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with a broad range of statistical methods and excitement to continue learning new data analysis techniques.</li>\n <li>Strong programming skills and experience implementing statistical algorithms.</li>\n <li>Experience using R, Python, JSL, Matlab or SAS.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of statistical methods in areas such as linear models, time-to-event models, frailty models, etc…</li>\n <li>2+ years professional software development experience.</li>\n <li>Experience using C++ or C programming languages.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with JMP.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct applied research and translate statistical theory into practical tools for JMP users.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and software development deadlines.</li>\n <li>Strong time management and organizational skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>World-class benefits </strong> </p>\n<p>Highlights include...</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, prescription, dental and vision plans.</li>\n <li>Medical plan options include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>PPO with low annual deductible and copays.</li>\n   <li>HDHP combined with a health savings account with a contribution from SAS (no access to on-site health care center).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Onsite Health Care Center (HQ) that’s free to employees and family members enrolled in the PPO plan.
