Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stamping Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification of progressive, compound, and single-hit stamping dies used in precision metal stamping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with tight tolerances, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping dies, tooling, fixtures, and related equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on tooling to ensure optimal production performance and tool life. Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve productivity. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and tool designs. Operate machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, EDM equipment, and other precision machining equipment. Inspect tooling components using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams during new product launches and process improvements. Assist with die tryouts, first-piece inspections, and production startups. Recommend tooling improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and tool longevity. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
