Job Title : Business Development Manager – IT Consulting Services Industry: Information Technology Consulting Location : Remote Job Status: Full-Time or Part-Time Summary: We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our IT consulting services by identifying and securing new client relationships. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and positioning our firm as a partner for IT recruiting solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in outreach, and skilled at building relationships and closing new business. You will be responsible for developing a pipeline of companies with current or upcoming hiring needs and converting them into clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and target companies with current or future IT hiring needs. Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and networking to generate new business opportunities. Schedule and lead discovery meetings with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives. Understand client hiring needs and present tailored recruiting solutions. Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from initial contact through closing. Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations. Negotiate and close service agreements with new clients. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support repeat business and account growth. Required Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, staffing sales, or IT consulting sales. Proven track record of generating and closing new business. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Comfortable engaging with senior-level decision makers. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline. Ability to understand business needs and position solutions effectively. Core Competencies: A strong hunter mindset with a focus on prospecting and closing. Confidence in client-facing conversations and outreach. Ability to quickly understand client needs and present solutions clearly. A results-driven approach with consistent follow-through and accountability.
