Our OB Hospitalists at Stamford Hospital&nbsp;</span></span><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\">provide care and oversight for patients presenting to Labor &amp; Delivery or the Emergency Department that are from the clinic, present without an attending physician or retained assignment from a private physician.<span>&nbsp; </span>They provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents. The incumbent will also provide medical consultation as necessary inpatient coverage of obstetrics and gynecologic patients on other services.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\">In this role, you will support medical staff utilization management and clinical effectiveness efforts, enhance the quality and safety of in-patient care, complete care of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\">Schedule: 14 12-hour shifts per month. Mix of days and nights, 7A-7P and 7P-7A.
