The Cosmetic Bumper Painter Technician is responsible for painting damaged bumpers and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards. </p>\n<p>Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00-$25.00 depending on experience.</p>\n<p> Must be willing to work 3pm-12:00am shift. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Perks of working with us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Weekly Pay - get paid every Friday.</li>\n <li>401k with a generous Company match </li>\n <li>Vacation (accruals earned on Full Time or Part Time status)</li>\n <li>Vision, dental, and medical care benefits available to any team <strong>full time</strong> team member</li>\n <li>Team member Referral Bonus Program</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement </li>\n <li>Discounts with Corporate Partners like GE, Dell, Oakley, Yeti, Ray Ban, and many more….</li>\n <li>Development and growth opportunities</li>\n <li>Free Employee Parking</li>\n <li>On-site gym, free of charge to team members </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Paint bumpers and components for Used Car vehicles.</li>\n <li>Inspects bumpers that enter the paint shop to ensure it has passed all previous inspections and standards. </li>\n <li>Prepares vehicles and parts for paint, by filling small dents and scratches with body fillers to smooth surfaces. </li>\n <li>Applies primer over any repairs made to bumper surfaces. </li>\n <li>Achieves production objectives set by Management.</li>\n <li>Maintains and wears all safety and protective equipment, including respirator. </li>\n <li>Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous material. </li>\n <li>Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.</li>\n <li>Assists in all other areas of the CRC, as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.</li>\n <li>Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance. </li>\n <li>Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.</li>\n <li>Transports Bumpers and parts across campus on motorized Cart.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should possess:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> A high school diploma or equivalent. </li>\n <li>A minimum of one (1) year experience replenishing vehicles. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance related to vehicle replenishing; federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste; and mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages) and application. </li>\n <li>Ability to operate manual transmission; pay attention to detail; determines cause of operating errors on a range of makes and models and decides what to do about it; determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the job; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; and reads and comprehends instructions and information in the English language.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<h1>Physical Demands</h1>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
