This role will be coordinating with other teams like IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Operations. Unleashing Your Potential</li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account</li>\n <li>RRSP matching program</li>\n <li>Employee bonus program</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n <li>Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze the assigned portion of financial statements periodically and performing variance analysis comparing last period and last year results</li>\n <li>Assist in preparing management reports with detailed analytical insights as to reasons for variances</li>\n <li>Assisting with all audit enquiries for our yearly financial audit with proper reasons and backups</li>\n <li>Participate in system improvements and controls in SAP by being an active player and coordinating with other teams</li>\n <li>Monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Assisting in forecasting and cashflow projection for management on an ongoing basis</li>\n <li>Create financial models by performing ad-hoc financial analysis to provide financial impact and recommendations to management on a timely basis</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant local, provincial, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirements</li>\n <li>Manage intercompany transactions by ensuring proper controls are in place and co-ordination</li>\n <li>Ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly and prepare periodic accruals</li>\n <li>Prepared schedules and reconciliations for major accounts such as treasury </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of accounting and finance experience</li>\n <li>Strong FICO experience in SAP preferrable</li>\n <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel</li>\n <li>Manufacturing and food industry experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Strong communication, presentation and multi-tasking skills required</li>\n <li>Working towards CPA is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</strong>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
