Archaeological Field Supervisor

Lochmueller Group is seeking an Archaeological Field Supervisor to support and lead archaeological field investigations and cultural resources work as part of our Environmental Services team. This position plays a critical hands-on role in leading archaeological field work, conducting archaeological surveys and excavations, and supporting Section 106 compliance efforts under the direction of a Principal Investigator. Key responsibilities include: Archaeological Fieldwork Supervision: Conduct and supervise archaeological field investigations including Phase I surveys, Phase II evaluations, monitoring, and limited data recovery under the direction of a Principal Investigator. Lead field crews during pedestrian survey, shovel testing, excavation, and site documentation. Ensure accurate field recording, mapping, photography, and completion of site forms.
