Description

Description Position Summary The Director of Product Management serves as a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the long-term vision for TERREPOWER’s industrial product portfolio. This role drives enterprise-level growth by aligning product strategy, innovation, and go-to-market execution with evolving market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive benchmarks. The Director will own end-to-end product lifecycle leadership, from ideation and development through commercialization and end-of-life, while ensuring tight cross-functional integration across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations. With a strong focus on value creation, portfolio optimization, and scalable growth, this leader will position and sustain TERREPOWER as a market leader in the industrial space by accelerating adoption, expanding share, and delivering differentiated solutions across core and growth segments. Responsibilities Lead the Industrial Product team to drive an aggressive new product development schedule and manage four product categories: Rotating Electric, Braking, Turbos, Hydraulics. Within those four categories are ten industrial products (Starters, Alternators, Air disc calipers, hydraulic calipers, Vehicle turbos, industrial turbos, turbo actuators, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and valves). Develop and execute individual product market strategies and market share roadmaps for both existing core products and the identified industrial strategic growth portfolio including pricing, profitability channel management for both OES (CV and Industrial OEMs) and IAM. Regularly evaluate product, financial performance, and quality relative to established annual market share objectives and recommend and implement enhancements to ensure goals achieved. External line reviews with strategic customers supporting customer’s market success. Measure, mentor and develop Industrial manager personnel (7 direct reports) to ensure personal and professional goals are achieved. Collaborating with Sales, Category Management, Engineering and Production Teams in the establishment and adherence of the overall TERREPOWER Industrial value proposition. Including internal and external training. Direct the Catalog Team to analyze and prioritize gaps in product coverage, and to research and recommend the addition of late model applications needed to maintain market leadership, and to provide all necessary catalog data to our Channel Partners. Project management of timely production launches. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to proactively identify growth and innovation opportunities. Ensure strong business performance through pricing strategy, profitability management, accurate product data, and disciplined launch execution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Technical, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles within industrial, CV, heavy‑duty, or manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑category product portfolios across mechanical, electromechanical, or hydraulic products. Proven success developing and executing product market strategies and market share roadmaps within OES (CV and Industrial OEMs) and/or IAM channels. Strong background in new product development, lifecycle management, pricing, and profitability optimization. Prior ownership or strong influence over portfolio financial performance, including revenue growth, margin, and investment prioritization. Data ‑ driven decision maker with strong business acumen and attention to operational rigor. Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfort using data to drive alignment and accountability. Company About Us: For over 35 years, TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) has been a leader in sustainable manufacturing, driving the circular economy by extending the life of essential products in the automotive and industrial markets. Founded in 1987 in Daphne, Alabama by the Bigler family, TERREPOWER began as a small regional remanufacturer of starters and alternators. Our commitment to quality and innovation quickly earned us a reputation as a trusted name in the automotive industry. Recognizing new challenges and opportunities, in 2019 we set our sights on EV battery upcycling-addressing one of the industry’s most pressing issues. Our engineering team pioneered solutions to extend EV battery life, pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation. Recognizing that demand for solar panels would exceed availability and 100,000 tons of waste would potentially go into landfills by 2035, our team searched for an innovative way to upcycle solar panels. With an eye on the future, we developed ways to upcycle solar panels. Rooted in family and community values, we’re proud to have second-generation employees contributing to our legacy. Backed by Clearlake Capital, we’ve expanded our footprint into Europe with facilities in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany and Poland. We now sustainably manufacture and supply an assortment of nondiscretionary repair parts across more than 90 countries. As we move forward under the TERREPOWER name, we remain committed to the same values that have always defined us: entrepreneurship, teamwork, customer-centered, sustainability, safety. Why Join Us? When you join our team, you become part of a company that is redefining how essential products are made, reused and repurposed to reduce waste and maximize resources. Here’s what sets us apart: Purpose-Driven Work – Every day, your work will contribute to extending the useful life of essential products, keeping vehicles on the road and critical systems running. Innovative Mindset – We encourage creative problem-solving and bold ideas to push the boundaries of what is possible. Global Reach, Local Impact – With operations in North America and Europe, we have a global presence but remain deeply connected to the communities we serve. Growth & Development – Whether you’re on the production floor, in engineering, or part of our corporate team, we invest in your success through training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities. A Culture of Collaboration – Rooted in teamwork and shared values, our employees work together to tackle challenges and drive meaningful change. TERREPOWER is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, pregnancy, age, veteran status, religion, national origin, genetic information, disability unrelated to the ability to perform a job, sexual orientation, or transgender status to the extent protected by law. We believe that diversity drives innovation and success.
