Description

As part of the Welty Energy Team, the Senior Project Manager 2 will deliver projects to completion on time and on budget while maintaining a high level of customer centricity and managing stakeholder expectations. Roles As a Welty Energy Senior Project Manager 2, you: willleadtheprojectmanagementteamresponsible for planning, organizing,andcoordinating the completion ofall activities for the engineering, design, procurement,and construction of major capital projects and programs. willberesponsible forhighcomplexity projectsand/or programs. willcoordinate with all applicable stakeholders on your project(s)to ensure that communication across the lines isestablishedand maintained throughout the life cycle of the project(s). willbe the primary point of contact with the clientregardingyour project(s). willfacilitatetheimplementation of the company’sand client’ssafetyandhealth programswith your project team(s)andpromotesafework practices. willfacilitatethe implementation of the company’s and client’s environmental programs with your project team(s)focusing ontheprotection of theenvironmentin accordance withcompany policy and government regulations. willcommit to the ideals of aclient-centric culture to foster trust and confidence amongclientsand improve valuefor all our stakeholders. willconductdetailedtechnical reviews of specifications, drawings, contracts,addenda,and other construction documents to ensure constructability with our client’s standards and specificationswhileutilizingthe technicalexpertiseof othersas needed. will conduct and directdetailedproject planning and status meetings to ensure schedule and financial adherence to projects arebeingmaintainedand significant issues are clearlydisseminatedto relevant participantswith potential proposed solutions. will providedetailedschedule updates of the engineering, construction,and budget status of each project to theappropriate managementteams (internalandexternal). willleadconstruction package reviews, pre-award meetings, field visits, and pre-award project sitewalk-downs. willbe the single point of contact for Construction on submittals, reviews,and coordination of required project information and documents. will ensure that necessarywith potential proposed solutionsoutages areidentified,submitted,and communicated in atimelyto avoid schedule interruptions and conflicts with other projects in the area. will ensure thatrequiredpermits are obtained for all fieldwork andrequiredapprovals are secured from applicable parties. willmentorand trainProject Managers andProject Coordinators. may be assigned specifictasksas needed and asdeterminedbya Portfolio Manager, the Portfolio Director,or theLeadership Team. willassistthe Portfolio Manager(s) with the coordination, preparation, and reporting of significant activities on construction projects and programs. will communicate project workload to portfolio managerin a timely mannerallowing for request to respective client .
