The ideal candidate would have previous experience working for or with an electrical contractor. The Regional Safety Manager reports to the Senior Safety Manager. Responsibilities are focused on maintaining the safest possible workplace and OSHA Compliance. The Regional Safety Manager will be hands-on and interact with our field personnel and management team daily.  \n<p>#miller</p>\n<p>#LI-SJ1</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, policies, and/or procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides technical expertise to managers and supervisors in establishing techniques and procedures for the elimination or control of unsafe behaviors, environments, and hazards.</li>\n <li>Plans and conducts periodic and unscheduled surveys and inspections of Miller Electric Company projects.</li>\n <li>Conduct hazard analyses of project operations</li>\n <li>Assist in the update and maintenance of the company safety manual</li>\n <li>Develop and conduct risk assessments and Job Task Analyses for relevant tasks</li>\n <li>Coordinates with operating activities to provide safety training and ensures safety awareness throughout Miller Electric Company.</li>\n <li>Work with personnel to assure safe placement and job assignment</li>\n <li>Assist in the maintenance of accident record keeping</li>\n <li>Provide technical assistance with the investigation of accidents, incidents, injuries, and/or illnesses.</li>\n <li>Foster a team environment when advising on needed corrections</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BCSP credential (CHST or STS-C)</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing electrical contractor scope of work. (This experience must include working either healthcare or data center electrical construction projects.)</li>\n <li>OSHA 30-hour certification within the past 3 years</li>\n <li>Understanding of Workers’ Compensation</li>\n <li>Strong technical writing ability</li>\n <li>A strong supporter of collaboration in an effort to gather the best solutions</li>\n <li>Ability to address and train groups of 25-30</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to a changing work environment</li>\n <li>Ability to act independently with minimal daily direction</li>\n <li>Ability to work closely with all levels of Miller Electric Company</li>\n <li>High energy and self-motivated</li>\n <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
