    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity: Beach and Pool Attendant      </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible for servicing the guests’ needs and maintaining the cleanliness of beach, pools, and health clubs in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Potential Career Path</strong>   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Beach and Pool Supervisor</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure security of beach, pool and health club access, as well as guest and hotel property.</li>\n <li>Be conscious of guests’ whereabouts and activities at all times, especially children.</li>\n <li>Instruct and enforce hotel policies regarding towels, chairs, umbrellas, and pool usage.</li>\n <li>Prepare beach, pools, spas, and health clubs for guest use. </li>\n <li>Provide basic first aid to any guest when needed. Request additional help if needed.</li>\n <li>Service, clean, and rotate through all assigned areas. Collect trash and debris, wipe down chairs, railings and equipment.</li>\n <li>Properly fill out daily log sheets relating to pool maintenance.</li>\n <li>Handle pool chemicals and reagents in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. </li>\n <li>Partake in water safety training session. </li>\n <li>Properly handle and report any employee or guest accidents and incidents. </li>\n <li>Sweep beach sand from walkways, stairwell and pool deck. Clean beach: Sanitize trash bins. </li>\n <li>Organize and maintain all outdoor and rescue equipment. </li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.</li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Previous related experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>This property is a part of the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division of HHM Hotels. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>HHM Hotels is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
