Provides high quality customer service and promotes integrity while serving as a dealer for specific, licensed poker games.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>KEY JOB FUNCTIONS</u></strong>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Perform the act of dealing cards and for specific games which includes shuffling, dealing and retrieving playing cards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for game protection and game control.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for placing lids on racks.</span></li>\n <li><span>Inform Supervisor and/or Manager of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on game.</span></li>\n <li><span>Knows and abides by IGC Regulations and company policies and procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Verifies opening and closing table inventory slips.</span></li>\n <li><span>Calls out for “no more bets”.</span></li>\n <li><span>Exchanges cash or coupons for chips.</span></li>\n <li><span>Collects rake, collects commission based on game dealt.</span></li>\n <li><span>Pays winning bets, collects losing bets.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</u></strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">High school diploma or equivalent.&nbsp; Proof of experience as a dealer with a licensed casino or completion of an approved training course in card games.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT</u></strong>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Must be able to work independently.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Disclaimer&nbsp;</span><br><span>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
