Individual assists other Crew Member(s) and Crew Leader with the transformation of design plans into quality landscape designs meeting or exceeding our customer expectations. &nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Preparation:</strong> Assist in the daily preparation of trucks and equipment, including loading and securing equipment, plants, and hardscape materials.</li><li><strong>Planting:</strong> Perform the planting of trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials, as well as the installation of wood and stone mulch.</li><li><strong>Installation:</strong> Install hardscapes, water features, lighting, and irrigation systems, including retaining walls, boulders, wall stone, pavers, etc.</li><li><strong>General Tasks:</strong> Execute all tasks involved in installation such as digging, shoveling, raking, sweeping, pruning, watering, picking stones, and clearing debris.</li><li><strong>Restoration:</strong> Restore existing landscapes to ensure they meet company standards.</li><li><strong>Material Handling:</strong> Load and unload materials and supplies (requires lifting over 50 pounds).</li><li><strong>Equipment Operation:</strong> Operate equipment such as trucks, Bobcats, compactors, trenchers, masonry saws, etc.</li><li><strong>Hand Tools:</strong> Utilize hand tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, picks, brooms, etc.</li><li><strong>Maintenance:</strong> Ensure daily maintenance of tools and equipment, including cleaning, sharpening, greasing, and fueling.</li><li><strong>Site Cleanup:</strong> Complete the cleanup of work sites to maintain a professional appearance.</li><li><strong>Seasonal Duties:</strong> Assist with snow removal during the winter months as business needs dictate.</li><li><strong>Safety:</strong> Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Outdoor Work:</strong> Work is primarily performed outdoors throughout all seasons.</li><li><strong>Weather Exposure:</strong> Exposure to various outdoor weather conditions, including inclement weather such as rain, snow, heat, or cold.</li><li><strong>Noise Level:</strong> The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection is required for duties involving equipment operation that exposes the individual to elevated noise levels.</li><li><strong>Chemical Exposure:</strong> Duties may expose the individual to chemicals and fertilizers.</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Peak Season Hours:</strong> Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (40-55 hours per week) during our peak season (approximately April to November).
