Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experience and eliminating shipping friction for both employees and  customers.</p><ul><li>Own and drive delivery of large-scale initiatives by leading hands-on technical design, shaping application-level architectural decisions and ensuring successful transition from design through production support.</li><li>Provide technical leadership for teams, mentoring and coaching engineers across levels, guiding design decisions, and helping shape a culture of continuous learning, quality, and engineering excellence.</li><li>Maintain a significant hands-on software engineering role, including designing and implementing critical components, writing and reviewing production code, troubleshooting complex issues, and directly contributing to delivery alongside the team.</li><li>Collaborate across business functions to translate strategic goals into cohesive engineering plans, influencing roadmaps and ensuring alignment across teams.</li><li>Shape and advance engineering culture, standards, and best practices by modeling a hypothesis-driven, iterative approach and fostering a growth mindset across engineering teams.</li><li>Demonstrate growth, staying current with emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability, making recommendations where appropriate, and supporting knowledge sharing across engineering.</li><li>Lead design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning activities.</li><li>Apply advanced and mature software engineering principles, including systems thinking, domain modeling, modular architecture, operational excellence, observability, performance optimization, and complex risk/dependency management, to guide system-level decision-making and influence technical direction across teams.</li><li>Demonstrate and champion the established “TRUCKS” cultural principles of transparency, responsiveness and resiliency, understanding, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and simplicity throughout the organization.</li><li>Occasional travel may be required based on Business needs.</li><li>Regular attendance is required.</li><li>This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Employees are expected, and must be able to perform all such duties and tasks.</li></ul><b>Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from four-year college or university; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background</li><li>8+ years of experience in software engineering required.</li><li>4+ years of experience with Java or JavaScript Frameworks required.</li><li>8+ years of experience with Java or JavaScript Frameworks preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Rest API development and technologies preferred.</li><li>4+ years of experience in stateless design and containerization preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in relational and NoSQL databases preferred.</li><li>Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure preferred.</li><li>Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct</li><li>Must be able to interact well with others</li><li>Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting</li><li>Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities</li><li>Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li></ul><b>Physical Demands:</b><br/>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
