This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through completion while ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and financial performance.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Why Join KCI Construction?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee-Owned Company (ESOP) – Share in the success you help create.</li>\n<li>Enjoy Unlimited Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>100% Employer Paid Benefits for Employee and Dependents</li>\n<li>Work on meaningful infrastructure and civil construction projects</li>\n<li>Strong culture built on Growth, Resilience, Integrity, and Teamwork (GRiT)</li>\n<li>Opportunities for long-term career development and leadership growth</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage heavy civil construction projects from planning through closeout.</li>\n<li>Oversee projects involving earthwork, excavation, grading, underground utilities, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterline installation, and roadway construction.</li>\n<li>Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution in partnership with Superintendents and field teams.</li>\n<li>Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Financial &amp; Cost Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and monthly profit projections.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate cost coding and cost books.</li>\n<li>Identify cost risks early and implement corrective actions.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Subcontractor &amp; Procurement Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop scopes of work and manage subcontract agreements.</li>\n<li>Procure major materials and subcontract services to support project schedules.</li>\n<li>Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Coordination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner closely with Superintendents to coordinate field and office operations.</li>\n<li>Lead project meetings with owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.</li>\n<li>Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities to maintain project progress.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Change Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and price change order opportunities.</li>\n<li>Prepare and negotiate change proposals with owners and engineers.</li>\n<li>Manage project submittals and documentation to support schedule and compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client &amp; Stakeholder Communication</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the primary liaison with owners, municipalities, DOT representatives, engineers and inspectors. </li>\n<li>Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. </li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management. </li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of earthwork operations, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure construction.</li>\n<li>Experience working with municipal, DOT, or public infrastructure projects preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. </li>\n<li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Alignment with KCI GRiT Values. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n<li>Construction scheduling software</li>\n<li>Experience with HCSS preferred</li>\n<li>Vista experience a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>KCI is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
