Amelia, Cumberland, Powhatan, Middlesex, and Surry County.</p><p><strong>Overview:</strong> We are seeking experienced and compassionate Paramedics to join our 911 staffing team. As a Paramedic in the communities we serve, you will provide advanced medical care and play a pivotal role in delivering life-saving interventions to individuals during critical situations. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on community health and safety.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Respond promptly to emergency calls as part of a 911.</li><li>Perform advanced patient assessments and triage, prioritizing care based on criticality.</li><li>Administer advanced life support (ALS) interventions within scope of practice and protocols.</li><li>Manage and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or cardiac events.</li><li>Coordinate patient care and transportation to appropriate medical facilities.</li><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare providers.</li><li>Document patient assessment, treatment provided, and response to interventions accurately and comprehensively.</li><li>Maintain and clean equipment and ambulances in accordance with established standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Current certification as a Paramedic or EMT-I in Virginia.</li><li>Valid CPR (BLS) certification.</li><li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.</li><li>Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments and make complex medical decisions.</li><li>Physical ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment safely.</li><li>Clean driving record and ability to operate an ambulance safely.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous experience working in a 911 emergency response setting.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive hourly wages with opportunities for overtime.</li><li>Holiday pay.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Continuing education and training opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>About Us:</strong> We are currently operating in Amelia, Cumberland, Powhatan, Middlesex, and Surry County.
