This role requires you to be on-site, with an expectation of being present in the office several days per week.<br><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>This is a hands-on developer role, combining deep technical work with </span><span>system installation, lab maintenance, testing, CI </span><span>troubleshooting</span><span> and close </span><span>collaboration with</span><span> developers.</span><span> You will play a key role in shaping the future of our CI/CD systems, test infrastructure, internal tooling, and automation, ensuring scalability and robustness as our developer organization grows. </span><span>You’ll</span><span> help the team take ownership of the systems that power everything from </span><span>build</span><span> pipelines to hardware-in-the-loop testing, while guiding long-term strategy for how we scale CI/CD and developer experience across </span><span>Zivid</span><span>.</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and scale our CI/CD setup (GitHub Actions, Docker, self-hosted runners) with 40+ on-premises runners/hosts.</li>\n<li>Integrating embedded systems and hardware into our CI pipelines.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and vision teams to ensure frictionless integration.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>Please write your cover letter without the use of AI tools. That is what helps us understand whether you and the role are a good fit.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WE’RE LOOKING FOR<span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Experience with </span><span>on-premises</span><span> infrastructure</span><span> (servers or consumer hardware, storage, network).</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n<li>Deep understanding of build pipelines, Docker, GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI, and modern DevOps tooling.</li>\n<li>Strong coding skills in Python and Shell scripting, C/C++ is a plus. <br></li>\n<li>Mindset for developer enablement, building systems that empower autonomous teams.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with monitoring, scaling, and optimizing build/test infrastructure.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Minimum </span><span>3 years</span><span> of experience.</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of one or more traditional C++ or embedded build systems (Make, CMake, Meson etc).</li>\n<li>Strong background in testing embedded or hardware-related software within CI is a plus.</li>\n<li>Understanding of more large scale build systems (Bazel, Pants, Buck2, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Chef, Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad).</li>\n<li>Experience with virtualization/cluster management platforms (Proxmox) is a plus.</li>\n<li>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).</li>\n<li>Experience with virtualization of Windows machines on Linux host using Vagrant.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with developer experience and productivity tooling at scale.</li>\n<li>Experience with mono-repos and handling LFS at scale</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WE OFFER </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build the backbone enabling world-class 3D vision systems from Oslo.</li>\n<li>Shape how we build, test, and release software and firmware for robotics.</li>\n<li>Work with real hardware and complex system interactions.</li>\n<li>Enjoy a friendly, inclusive, and passionate engineering culture.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation package, including sign-on stock options, competitive pension scheme and premium health insurance.</li>\n<li>Social events like climbing, running, cage ball, movie night, and company cabin trips.</li>\n<li>Excellent workplace canteen. <br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deadline:</span><span> 31</span>th of May 2026.
