Click here ! Reporting to the Supervisor, Community and Indigenous Relations, Ontario, you will be part of the Community and Indigenous Relations team. You will support the team in achieving our objectives while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, the health and safety code of conduct, environmental responsibilities, and our relationships with and commitments to Indigenous Rightsholders and public stakeholder groups. Support a consistent approach to engagement with Indigenous Rightsholders and public stakeholder groups across operational, project, and exploration activities at Detour Lake Mine; Support the proactive identification and communication of engagement-related risks and mitigation options; Prepare information required for external reporting requirements, including documentation of engagement activities in support of regulatory permits and approvals; Prepare information required for internal reporting requirements, including documentation of engagement activities in the Borealis platform; Support the implementation of commitments with Partner Indigenous Nations; Support the Community Response Procedure and ensure timely responses to inquiries; Participate in, organize, and coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and overnight travel to communities and mine sites, and provide support for community ‑ hosted events; Support social, economic, and well ‑ being research, assessments, and monitoring activities; Support the Community and Indigenous Relations team in the achievement of regional and corporate objectives; Provide input into strategies, standards, and programs that promote positive community engagement and advance relationships; Collaborate with environment, permitting, human resources, procurement, communications, and other internal functions to implement community engagement strategies and procedures; Continually seek opportunities to grow and enhance skills that support the role and the Community and Indigenous Relations team. Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Kirkland Lake or Timmins Regional Office.
