For more information, please visit www.comtech.com.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot Tier III service impairments and maintain accurate documentation of related trouble tickets.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support for high availability NextGen 9-1-1 VoIP telephony signaling &amp; voice networks.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support for SIP-based monitoring infrastructure and network capture tools.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with other teams to plan, design, and implement systems in a heterogeneous, distributed Build lab environments and perform acceptance testing of new products.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as a support for SIP signaling related to Next Gen 9-1-1 call delivery.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install, provision and support NextGen 9-1-1 call routing and delivery systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document system configurations and operational procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in ISO-9000, TL-9000, and ISO-27001 compliance and documentation activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide technical expertise for future Comtech services in the telecommunications sector.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for supporting hosted and in-network ALI products and services.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design, install, configure and support high availability ALI applications (five 9&rsquo;s) for E9-1-1 and NextGen E9-1-1 call routing and delivery systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Configure and maintain Automatic Location Information application systems on Windows and Linux platforms.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as an engineer for ALI applications and delivery/display of location information related to E9-1-1 calls to PSAPs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Stay apprised of technological trends in telecommunications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work independently on projects assigned.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on experience with telephony protocols (e.g. SIP, SS7, ISDN, RFAI, i3 and CAMA).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience supporting Sun Solaris Unix and Linux RedHat environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">NextGen 9-1-1 knowledge</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience developing technical diagrams with Visio.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Candidate is willing to work overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to demonstrate Wireshark knowledge of SIP call flow and ALI location flow.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity of BMC / Helix Remedy AR System</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with NextGen 9-1-1</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with NetScout tools and Wireshark.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This is a Hybrid position, 2-3 days a week in the office.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associate&rsquo;s degree or equivalent related experience and 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in the telecommunications industry.</li></ul><p><strong>This position requires compliance with Comtech&rsquo;s Drug-Free Workplace Program.
