As a Seasonal Wildlife Technician, you'll help homeowners and businesses handle nuisance wildlife the right way. One stop might be a raccoon in an attic, the next a bat exclusion on a three-story roof. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who'll show you the ropes, and strong performers often get offered full-time roles when the season ends.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p><ul><li>Drive a company vehicle to client sites across the area</li><li>Assist with humane, code-compliant nuisance wildlife solutions</li><li>Inspect roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and entry points</li><li>Keep your truck stocked and your work documented</li><li>Represent Varment Guard professionally with every customer</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record</li><li>Comfortable on ladders, rooftops, and in tight spaces</li><li>Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 100)</li><li>Willing to obtain ODNR Commercial Nuisance Wild Animal Control Operator Certification (we'll support you)</li><li>Wildlife degree or route/customer service experience is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why this role</strong> Solid $20/hour pay, real hands-on training, a clear path to full-time for the right person, and a team that's been doing this work for over 100 years.
