Relief International includes the four corporate members of the RI Alliance: Relief International Inc., Relief International-UK, and Relief International-France under our alliance agreement, we operate with a single, shared management structure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ol>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Profile</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p>The Health Program Coordinator is responsible for the technical oversight, coordination, implementation, and quality assurance of all health-related activities. The position ensures effective delivery of primary health care services, health systems strengthening interventions, community health activities, mental health services, and emergency health responses through supported Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs), Primary Health Care Satellite Units (PSUs), and community structures. Working under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Health Program Coordinator will oversee health teams, support health facilities, ensure compliance with Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) protocols and donor requirements.</p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">The Health Program Coordinator will also assume temporary program management responsibilities. These additional responsibilities are time-bound and are intended to ensure timely project start-up, internal coordination, donor compliance, and uninterrupted implementation due to a maternity leave. This is a Health Program Coordinator position. It is not a maternity leave replacement post. The additional program management responsibilities are temporary.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Health Program Implementation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the implementation of all health sector interventions in accordance with project objectives, donor requirements, MoPH protocols, and international standards.</li>\n<li>Ensure timely and quality implementation of:\n<ul>\n<li>Primary Health Care services</li>\n<li>Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH)</li>\n<li>Reproductive Health services</li>\n<li>Communicable Disease prevention and management</li>\n<li>Non-Communicable Disease programming</li>\n<li>Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)</li>\n<li>Community Health activities</li>\n<li>Home-based healthcare services</li>\n<li>Emergency and displacement health response interventions</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and supported PHCCs.</li>\n<li>Ensure integration of protection, safeguarding, gender, disability inclusion, and accountability principles within all health activities.</li>\n<li>Oversee quality assurance systems across supported health facilities to ensure compliance with MoPH and WHO standards.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular supervisory visits, technical assessments, and audits to identify gaps and strengthen service delivery.</li>\n<li>Ensure effective patient file monitoring, data verification, and quality control mechanisms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Management of PHCC and PSU Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee technical support provided to all project-supported PHCCs and PSUs.</li>\n<li>Monitor service delivery quality, utilization trends, and patient outcomes across supported facilities.</li>\n<li>Ensure adequate availability and utilization of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and consumables.</li>\n<li>Support PHCC management teams in addressing operational and technical challenges.</li>\n<li>Ensure effective referral pathways between communities, PHCCs, hospitals, nutrition services, protection actors, and other service providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Health Information Management and Monitoring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure accurate collection, verification, analysis, and reporting of health data.</li>\n<li>Monitor achievement of project indicators and targets.</li>\n<li>Work closely with the MEAL team to ensure data quality and accountability.</li>\n<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc technical reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Community Health and Outreach</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise community health activities implemented through Community Health Volunteers (CHVs).</li>\n<li>Ensure effective implementation of:\n<ul>\n<li>Health awareness campaigns</li>\n<li>Community health clubs</li>\n<li>Disease surveillance activities</li>\n<li>Community referrals</li>\n<li>Health promotion and prevention activities</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stakeholder Coordination and Representation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in Health Sector Working Groups and technical coordination meetings.</li>\n<li>Represent the organization in technical health discussions and sector forums as delegated by the Program Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Management and Capacity Building</span></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Supervise health project staff.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.</li>\n<li>Identify staff development needs and support capacity strengthening initiatives.</li>\n<li>Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to organizational values.</li>\n<li>Ensure staff compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, and code of conduct requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">During Maternity Leave and Project Mobilization</span></p>\n<p>During the Health Program Manager’s maternity leave and the project mobilization phase, the Health Program Coordinator will assume selected Program Manager responsibilities, as delegated by the Country Director to ensure continuity of project leadership, timely start-up, and compliant implementation.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate project mobilization and start-up activities, including work planning, recruitment follow-up, procurement coordination, onboarding, field readiness, and tracking of key start-up milestones.</li>\n<li>Provide day-to-day oversight of project implementation, ensuring progress against approved work plans, targets, indicators, budgets, and donor commitments.</li>\n<li>Facilitate internal coordination between Health, Nutrition, Mental Health, MEAL, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Operations, Security, and field teams to support timely and effective implementation.</li>\n<li>Support donor compliance, documentation, reporting, monitoring visits, audits, and verification exercises by coordinating required inputs and flagging risks or gaps.</li>\n<li>Monitor expenditure, procurement needs, resource utilization, and implementation progress in coordination with Finance, Supply Chain, and the Country Director.</li>\n<li>Represent RI with MoPH, Health Sector actors, PHCCs, local authorities, donors, and other stakeholders, as delegated.</li>\n<li>Provide temporary coordination support to project staff, clarifying priorities, deliverables, reporting expectations, compliance requirements, and safety considerations. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills, knowledge and expertise required for the role. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential criteria</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health/or Nutritional professional with a bachelor’s degree in public health, Medicine, Nursing, Health Management, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 of progressively responsible experience in public health programming.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years in a coordination, supervisory, or management role.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing primary healthcare programs.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting health facilities and health systems strengthening initiatives.</li>\n<li>Experience in humanitarian and emergency response settings.</li>\n<li>Experience managing health projects funded by institutional donors.</li>\n<li>Excellent English and Arabic Language Skills.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skill<br></li>\n<li>Strong team management.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and coordination abilities.</li>\n<li>Ability to work
