    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Site Supervisor – Expanded Learning Programs (ELP) is responsible for the overall site leadership, management, and supervision of staff, students, and program activities. The Site Supervisor will provide coaching and support for the Assistant Site Supervisor and Youth Leader staff members, and will collaborate with school personnel and families to maximize program capacity, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and offer program activities that promote student skill building, healthy choices and behaviors, diversity and equity, and academic achievement. The Site Supervisor position requires leadership and management skills, strong communication skills, and a strong desire to mentor youth, strengthen families, and serve the community. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To learn more about YMCA Expanded Learning Programs CLICK HERE</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For more on Employee Perks, click on this link: Employee Benefits | YMCA of San Diego County (ymcasd.org)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>SCHEDULE</u>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Program Hours are from 6am to 8am and 1:30pm to 6pm M-F</li>\n <li>This role is full time and you will be scheduled for 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week with meal breaks</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>WORK DESIGNATION</u>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>In-Person</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for overall on-site management, staff and student supervision, site compliance, program planning, and implementing high quality program activities in accordance with the goals and policies of the ASES/21st CCLC grant, school district, collaborative partners, and the YMCA of San Diego County. </li>\n <li>Supervise program staff and participants, ensuring their guidance and safety at all times. </li>\n <li>Responsible for student recruitment and program marketing to ensure program capacity. </li>\n <li>Provide positive behavior guidance that supports the developmental, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students. </li>\n <li>Actively collaborate with families, school personnel, and district partners to align high quality academic activities, coordinate student services, and ensure positive relationships with all program stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Effectively manage all administrative duties for site including site budget, monthly paperwork, attendance management, program planning, staff development, and other contractual and compliance duties. </li>\n <li>Manage daily program operations including daily set up, program management, and daily closure of expanded learning program. </li>\n <li>Perform daily duties that ensure space is properly maintained, organized, clean, and safe. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position occasionally requires travel throughout San Diego County. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li> This position includes supervisory responsibilities </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma/GED. </li>\n <li>Two years experience in child and youth development, education, or comparable setting required. </li>\n <li>Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act in an emergency situation. </li>\n <li>Physical ability to lead activities such as sports, games, academic assistance, assemblies, transitions, and other program activities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>PRE-HIRE CONTINGENCIES:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensing, state law and our funders require that applicants be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications</li>\n <li>Negative TB assessment or test results obtained within the past 60 days, prior to working on a school site, and every four (4) years thereafter </li>\n <li>CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire, and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute</li>\n <li>Completion of one of the following: \n  <ul>\n   <li>48 college credits at an institution of higher education</li>\n   <li>AA/AS degree, OR</li>\n   <li>Passing score on district’s Classroom Assistant/Instructional Aide proficiency exam</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>YMCA will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
