Order collation and packing, product customisation, stock receipt, perpetual inventory checking, plus general warehouse and admin duties.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Order Collation and Packing </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To collate stock to orders using scanners, pack and prepare for despatch within the Company guidelines</li>\n<li>To ensure all documentation is correctly completed and maintained</li>\n<li>Ensure warehouse and working areas are kept clean and tidy</li>\n<li>Maintain the accuracy of stock always using stock rotation and by promptly reporting any stock discrepancies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Customisation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To accurately customise products to the required standard when demand requires</li>\n<li>Ensure customised products are easily identifiable using the required identifier</li>\n<li>To ensure all cutting quality issues are reported to the Deputy Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stock Receipt</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive incoming goods, check and sign paperwork for group of Companies when required</li>\n<li>Assist with booking in and placing stock in appropriate stock position using scanners and desktop software</li>\n<li>Maintain quality, batch control and traceability of stock</li>\n<li>To ensure cut products are easily identifiable using the required identifier</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Perpetual Inventory Checking </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete periodic accurate stock checks, reporting discrepancies to the Deputy Manager</li>\n<li>Ensure the quality of the product and storage condition is maintained at the highest possible standard</li>\n<li>Ensure stock is rotated correctly</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Objectives</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all orders are picked and packed accurately</li>\n<li>Ensure the warehouse is always well maintained</li>\n<li>Ensure regular stock rotation</li>\n<li>Ensure all incoming goods are checked and signed for when required</li>\n<li>Ensure that all functions meet the Company ISO Quality Standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To adhere to the company’s Equal Opportunities policy and Dignity at work policy in all activities and to actively promote equality of opportunity wherever possible</li>\n<li>To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, in accordance with the company’s’ Health and Safety policy</li>\n<li>To adhere to the company’s Quality policy and Environmental policy</li>\n<li>To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY SKILLS </span><br></p>\n<p>The candidate should show key warehousing knowledge and skills, with experience of working with computer systems related to warehouse working practices</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates competency in English and Maths</li>\n<li>Experience in using digital warehouse stock control systems</li>\n<li>Computer literacy</li>\n<li>Experience of warehouse environment</li>\n<li>Ability to write clear and concise English</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally</li>\n<li>Flexible and proactive</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of Handheld scanners preferred</li>\n<li>Warehouse system experience e.g., SAGE, SAP</li>\n<li>Conscientious and able to act proactively and with limited direct supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Internal</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comber Warehouse Team</li>\n<li>Working closely with other internal departments to ensure a quality service maintained</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">External</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting and communicating with couriers acting on behalf of the business</li>\n<li>Any other visitors to the Comber site</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hours of Work: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
