Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li><i>Implements strategies set by leadership to drive new product introductions, promotional programs, and training in the territory. </i></li><li><i>Selling 3M products including <b>Abrasives, Tapes, Masking Systems and Safety.</b></i></li><li><i>Supports the retailer/distributor along with the end-user (home improvement trades) to provide solutions to improve job-site efficiencies and training with our portfolios.</i></li><li><i>Presenting relevant information and products to customers in face-to-face presentations as well as phone calls or e-mails</i></li><li><i>Demonstrating to customers how to use 3M products and how they will add value to their company.</i></li><li>Lead and manage calls with professional paint and contractors and distributors (retail stores), and manage key stakeholders at each of these levels</li><li><i>Willingness to be on-call to support your customers need in your geography.</i></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Company Vehicle</b></p><p>This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Current, valid Driver’s License.</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li>Master’s degree in business administration from an accredited institution</li><li>Three (3) years of territory sales in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Skills include presentation skills across many types of customers and end-users, strong data analytics and negotiation skills.</li><li>Experience translating customer needs into creative solutions.</li><li>Ability and willingness to prioritize multiple customers, self-motivate, and be held accountable for setting and meeting goals.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work location: </b></p><ul><li><b>Greater Toronto Area is the base market and covers Southwest Ontario quarterly</b></li></ul><p><b>Travel: </b>May include up to 50% domestic</p><p><b>Relocation Assistance: </b>Relocation not authorized.</p><p></p><p><b>The expected compensation range for this position is $80,365 -- $93,054</b><b>, which includes base pay and variable incentive pay, if eligible.
