This position operates mobile equipment, slag processing plant, and maintains the plant, conveyor, crusher, and screens.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div><ul><li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability</li><li>Year round, non-weather dependent employment</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>The Plant Operator will:</div><div><ul><li>Operate mobile equipment to feed plant</li><li>Perform pre and post operation inspections of plant and mobile equipment</li><li>Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions</li><li>Replace drive belts, jaw dies, screen decks and maintain gear boxes and pulleys.</li><li>Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are made on plant, secondary structures, related maintenance tools, and safety equipment.</li><li>Manage the startup and shut down process for the plant, conveyors, crushers, and related components</li><li>Maintain housekeeping of yard and plant</li><li>Inspect and monitor the plant and secondary structures to ensure safe and proper operation</li><li>Determine proper settings for crusher and feeder</li><li>Monitor the plant to ensure proper operations</li><li>Monitor air emissions and will take appropriate corrective action</li><li>Adjust the plant based on production and plant performance data</li><li>Ensures material production schedule is maintained</li><li>Determines timing and controls watering of stockpiles</li><li>Checks stockpile to ensure product quality and mixes material to desired consistency</li><li>Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div>The ideal candidate will have:</div><div><ul><li>Ability to operate heavy mobile equipment and plant</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with ability to identify mechanical malfunctions</li><li>Ability to weld and burn</li><li>Knowledge of plant equipment, conveyor systems, screens, and crushers</li><li>Knowledge of materials and appropriate safety procedures</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>To Apply</strong></div><div>Please submit a resume</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><i><strong>Who is Edw.
