font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Safety Engineers visit customer sites to conduct risk assessments, provide safety reports, lead safety design reviews, perform safety validations, assist with safety concepts, and coordinate other safety activities.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Safety Engineers are mentored by and work closely with Safety Consultants to increase their safety understanding and receive guidance on the best way of achieving machine safety compliance.  A Safety Engineer increases their knowledge of general safety principals and standards, as well as developing a strong understanding of safety controls engineering.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide machinery safety expertise and knowledge in both written and verbal communications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Prepare and review reports from Consulting Team to ensure compliance with Pilz systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Be able to identify hazards on a machine (e.g. exposed gear/chain)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Conduct varying types of Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform validation (physical testing) on a machine at customer’s facility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Review electrical circuits and calculate the safety rating of the circuit</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist in machine safety compliance for projects of all sizes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide weekly updates on current projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist in the development of tools (e.g. software) to facilitate Pilz service offerings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Design safety solutions via concepts using various software tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide presentations to customers based on assessment results</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor's’ degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering Technology or similar program and one (1) to three (3) years of hands-on experience or equivalent combination of education and experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read electrical/controls schematics; specifically, power and control wiring</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent communication skills, verbal and written</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Solve and verify math formulas as established in IEC 61508 and ISO 13849-1</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Fluency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
