Our trading desks focus on variety of trading products; mainly power, gas, oil, coal, and certificates across 20 countries and 12 energy exchanges.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Job Description:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are looking for a Senior Power&amp;Gas Trader with a strong understanding of cross-commodity markets to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our portfolio for the whole curve.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute strategies for major European power &amp; gas markets from DA to Y+1, taking into account cross-commodity relations and market volatility.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop fundamental models and understanding for corresponding markets; provide market insights and forecasts to support decision-making.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain strong relationships with market participants and stakeholders, and stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments affecting different energy commodities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support and help to Quant Team to enhance research tools for the respective markets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help automation processes and make a contribution to algorithmic trading.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and to manage portfolio risks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant education in Finance, Math, Physics, Economics, or comparable quantitative studies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience in trading the European energy markets</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid trading track record in corresponding markets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the European and Global Energy Complex.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active proprietary trading of energy markets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to take calculated trading decisions and stick to risk management guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent time management and communication skills including significant attention to detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong mathematical skills and structured thinking.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to execute under pressure in a fast-paced environment alongside confidence, accountability, and decisiveness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in cross-commodity optimizations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programming skills in Python, and MATLAB are a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A MSc degree is a plus.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary + bonus scheme upon satisfactory results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to develop your own strategies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good insight into the energy market and the impact of the energy transition.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 weeks of vacation +1 week extra vacation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 sick days/year + 1 day birthday leave.<br><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Multisport Card  Access and Contribution</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee, tea, various snacks, and other refreshments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meal support (added to salary).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yearly public transport support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted for further evaluation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Thank you for considering joining our innovative team at Greenland Commodities – where science, technology, and trading converge for unparalleled success!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Important: Please apply only if you are based in Europe.</span></p>",
