With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Perform aircraft noise predictions and community noise assessment using acoustic propagation software. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct acoustic simulations using tools such as Advanced Acoustic Model, Aviation Environmental Design Tool, and SoundPLAN </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform aircraft acoustic analyses to compare noise sources </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop software framework and data pipeline for acoustic evaluation of new locations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Verification and presentation of predictions to guide future operations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop documentation and presentations to document acoustic impacts for specific infrastructure locations </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate student in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with computational aeroacoustics and sound propagation modeling </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in groups and individually </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders across a wide range of technical disciplines </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of rotorcraft aerodynamics and acoustics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with MATLAB and Python </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of CFD and FWH methods </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of acoustic metrics and acoustic masking </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Git/GitHub </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p><strong>Relocation Assistance:</strong> This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for undergraduate interns, which includes freshman to senior level students, is $22-$31/hr. The pay range for graduate interns with a Bachelor, Master, and/or Ph.D. degree is $5,550-$7,800/month.
