Description
Job Title: Factory Baker
Position Summary
The Factory Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, baking, and packaging products according to company recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has experience producing a variety of baked goods, including bagels, sweet treats, and gluten-free products.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and measure ingredients accurately by following standardized recipes
Mix, shape, proof, and bake products such as bagels, breads, pastries, and sweet baked goods
Prepare and bake gluten-free (GF) products while following proper allergen control procedures
Operate commercial baking equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality
Follow daily production schedules to meet output goals and deadlines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen control procedures at all times
Properly label finished products and ensure correct storage and handling
Report equipment issues, ingredient shortages, or product inconsistencies to supervisors
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of products for shipment when needed
Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and production standards
