We are looking for per-diem Occupational Therapist to service our patients.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Provides occupational therapy services.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Assesses, treats, and instructs patient/clients in the development, improvement, and restoration of the performance of necessary functions, compensation for dysfunctions, and/or tempering of disability.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Administers and interprets diagnostic and prognostic tests of function and applied therapeutic procedures.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Evaluates the patient, confers with the physicians, and participates in the development, maintenance, and periodic re-evaluation of the Physicians Plan of Treatment and the Plan of Care.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Utilizes professional skills and judgment in treating patients to increase strength, coordination, range-of-motion, and function of effected extremities and to retrain damaged nerve pathways or to teach compensation utilizing remaining innovations.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Constructs splints to prevent deformities and additional devices to increase independence for the physically impaired.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Other duties as required</span><br><br></li></ul><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Graduate from an occupational therapy curriculum with a Baccalaureate Degree or Certificate in Occupational Therapy and approved by New York State Education Department.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">The candidate must be an Occupational Therapist licensed/certified by and currently registered with the New York State Education Department or who has been issued a valid permit by that department.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Requires acute or homecare experience within the last two years. &nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Knowledge of Home Care software</span></li></ul><p><strong>Schedules&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>After school/Day program hours</li><li>Weekday/Weekend availability</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Range&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; $80,000 to $110,000<br><strong>Sign-On Bonus &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>$1,500 for Full-time; Prorated for Part-Time and Per-Diem</p><p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#2d2d2d;\">Work setting</span></strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#2d2d2d;\">Field&nbsp;</span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><strong>ABLE is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></span></p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div>\n",
