This role is critical to preventing waste, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement on the production floor. This position is hourly and non-exempt status.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHAT we need you to do.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Perform real-time verification of processes and machine setups on the manufacturing floor.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of all products at every stage of production.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ensure all operators follow proper tooling care procedures.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Identify and immediately report non-conforming products or processes to production staff to prevent waste.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Collect and document machine downtime information in the Machine Downtime report.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform other duties as required to support production and quality initiatives.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHAT you need to possess.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; High school diploma or GED required.<br>&nbsp;&bull; One (1) year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing preferred.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to facilitate learning and support process improvements.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Math aptitude and computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office products.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to read and interpret technical specification drawings.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment / Physical &amp; Visual Demands</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; This position is a hands-on role performed primarily on the manufacturing floor, not in an office setting.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Flexibility required to adapt to production needs and schedule demands.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Physical Demands: Standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, repetitive motions, grasping, and frequent lifting (up to 20 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance). May also include sedentary/light work such as sitting, writing, and keystroking.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Visual Demands: Sufficient acuity to read documents, perform inspections, and use measurement tools and computer systems.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Work Environment: Exposure to noise, vibration, and a non-climate-controlled environment.
