    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, testing, and developing well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient, using best software development practices to meet user needs. This role involves recommending software upgrades for current and future systems, translating User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and documenting every aspect of the application, service, or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and maintain advanced solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.</li>\n <li>Lead architectural design sessions and translate business requirements into scalable, well-structured Power Platform solutions.</li>\n <li>Implement robust data models, relationships, and business rule using Dataverse and other connected data sources.</li>\n <li>Build custom connectors, integrate external systems, and optimize API-based integrations across the M365 and Azure ecosystems.</li>\n <li>Develop and deploy Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls and other extensibility components using JavaScript/TypeScript.</li>\n <li>Establish and enforce Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, ALM processes, and security best practices.</li>\n <li>Manage solution lifecycle through source control, DevOps pipelines, and automated deployment processes.</li>\n <li>Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.</li>\n <li>Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.</li>\n <li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and citizen developers.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business analysts to refine requirements and shape platform strategy.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and solution diagrams.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5-8 years experience (expert-level) building solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), and Power Automate.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree (additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the Degree).</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency with Dataverse, data modeling, and relational data structures.</li>\n <li>Experience developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.</li>\n <li>Experience in creating and consuming custom connectors and integrating external systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.</li>\n <li>Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue, and Node.</li>\n <li>Experience with developing, packaging, and deploying C# plugins for extending business logic in Power Apps applications.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of solution layering, ALM, and managed/unmanaged solution strategies.</li>\n <li>Experience implementing role-based security, environment strategies, and governance best practices.</li>\n <li>Strong skills designing and optimizing Power Automate flows.</li>\n <li>Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (e.g. Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault).</li>\n <li>Ability to design scalable, enterprise-grade Power Platform architecture.</li>\n <li>Experience setting standards, patterns, and governance best practices for low-code development.</li>\n <li>Ability to evaluate business requirements, perform gap analyses, and propose modern solution architectures.</li>\n <li>Experience with DevOps pipelines, Git-based deployments, and automated solution deployment strategies.</li>\n <li>Ability to mentor junior developers and guide teams on best practices.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.</li>\n <li>Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enhance user experience.</li>\n <li>Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make improvements.</li>\n <li>Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights and data visualization.</li>\n <li>1+ year of experience with Power BI and SharePoint Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a background check.
